Our Covid-19 Policy: How we help protect against covid-19

Nexxus has been working closely with Staffordshire County Council as to how we can help fight against Covid-19 and support further with tackling this virus.

Nexxus has been involved in training volunteers in the community should the county need a quick additional response to the demand. Furthermore, PPE is secured and provided to all staff alongside effective communication. Risk assessments are conducted before any care commences and our staff are fully briefed, inclusive of the simplest measures such as the washing of hands.

Our offices have remained open throughout the pandemic and have all had a ‘Covid Secure’ risk assessment completed. We have identified those staff members that can work from home allowing those that cannot have ample space to be able to social distance. To ensure we can recruit and remain compliant, our training program has been completely refreshed to allow our usual processes to take place ensuring the highest quality.

Regular communication with our teams has been crucial, all branch staff has had the opportunity to attend antibody testing in the local area and we have just offered this out for all care staff. Nexxus will continue to work hard in the battle against this torrid virus and continue to follow local and national guidelines — working closely with all our partners.

If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
