Both of these homes are dementia units that care for early diagnosis of Dementia up to the advanced stages. Bracken House is located in Burntwood and was originally built in 1968. It Caters for up to 34 adults, 4 of these beds are respite for planned or emergency use. Bracken is in a residential area with shops and transport links close by. We make our clients feel comfortable by providing well-equipped facilities and an excellent team of staff which make sure all residents individual needs are met. Our communal areas include large lounges, dining rooms and quiet areas. We give our residents a friendly and homely atmosphere at Bracken, and we will continue to provide that service.

Meadowyrthe is a large care residence located in Tamworth (see care jobs in Tamworth) and has been in operation for over 50 years. Meadowyrthe caters for up to 41 residents with Dementia, 10 of which are respite beds for planned or emergency use. Meadowyrthe consists of 2 floors split into 4 households (Willow, Poppy, Buttercup and Bluebell). A short bus ride from just outside Meadowyrthe will take you into the Tamworth shopping Centre which includes libraries and cafes. We give our residents a homely and friendly atmosphere by providing the following communal areas: large lounges, dining rooms, a conservatory, Quiet areas, and a lovely garden.

At both of our homes we provide meaningful activities for all our residents hosted by our in-house activity’s coordinators, using a structured designed plan to accommodate individual interests and personal hobbies.
