Jubilee Court is a large retirement living scheme that is open for anyone over 55 to apply to move into when apartments become available. However, elements of this retirement scheme include the delivery of care. Therefore, it is marked as an extra care scheme. Nexxus Care tuped over to its services recently in 2023. Jubilee Court was built in 1978 and was recently refurbished in 2010.

Jubilee Court is located in Stafford and has been in operation for 45 years. The building is a 41 bedded scheme, and we currently provide care to a percentage of those living in the scheme.

The building itself is owned by housing provider Care Plus and they have done a great job in ensuring the building provides a homely and friendly atmosphere. Jubilee court has a stunning large garden area that is quite a popular hang out spot for the residents within Jubilee Court.

Although, the service we provide within our extra care schemes is similar to the way we run our Domiciliary care service. Referrals are dealt with in a different way. When a new individual moves into an apartment at Jubilee Court the housing provider assesses that individual to understand whether or not they will need care to be provided. Once a need is identified depending on that individuals circumstances the housing provider comes to us to see if we have the capacity to take on that call. If Nexxus can accommodate the hours safely and effectively, we will commence care as soon as possible (N.B. Subject to pre-admission assessments). We can take on any package of care whether it is through brokerage or private.
