Clair Muldowney Chief Operating Officer
I joined Nexxus in July 2018 as the COO, after working for ten years in the social care industry and mainly regionally, Nexxus attracted me as a small local provider with the potential and scope to grow in order to benefit a growing number of service users. My role is to ensure operational excellence, strategic planning and financial oversight , enabling a viable business delivering the highest quality and best value for money.

Louise Chamberlain Quality and Training Manager
I have worked in the care industry for over 25 years, I have covered many roles from Care worker to Regional Operations Director. I joined Nexxus in August 2018 as Training and Quality Manager, I am responsible for the quality of the care provision provided by our care staff. I also manage the recruitment to ensure we get the very best staff on board, ensuring all staff are fully trained and are confident and competent to deliver our excellent standard of care.

Elaine Wilson Training Officer
I have a varied work history in the care sector, I have worked as a Nurse, I have owned and managed my own care company. For the past few years I have worked in training and assessments of NVQ and Diplomas. At Nexxus I manage the training data to ensure we receive full or part funding for our training provision. I also go out into the community and assess our staff to ensure the are fully trained allowing them to obtain the Care Certificate.
Laura Turner Accounts and Procurement Officer
I joined Nexxus Care in March 2018. I am responsible for managing the accounts within Nexxus, including payroll, credit control and procurement. I Joined Nexxus to enable me to use my business and management skills to ensure that finance, payroll and accounts run smoothly and effectively. I have a background in Data Protection and Information Security within the NHS and I am also the Data Protection Lead for Nexxus Care.

East Staffordshire Reablement Branch

Lisa Jenkins Registered Branch Manager
I joined Nexxus in March 2018. I have over 30 years experience working in the care industry and i have worked in many different care environments. I am responsible for the smooth running of the branch ensuring staff work to the policies and procedures of the company and to CQC standards. I also oversee all aspects of care delivery to ensure our customers receive the highest standard of care and support.
Sunita Bickerton Professional Lead Occupational Therapist
I am the Professional Lead Occupational Therapist. I oversee the reablement side of our service. I have a range of experience in both mental and physical health ranging from children to older adults. As an Occupational Therapist, I will look at the individual holistically to ensure we offer the best possible personalised service to our customers. We can offer support with equipment, advice on other services and help with techniques that will help you become more independent and reach your goals.
Pjilippina Mwamachi Occupational Therapist
I am a Band 5 Community Occupational Therapist My role involves carrying out functional assessments, ordering adaptive equipment, as well as working in collaboration with other members of the Nexxus Care team to facilitate safe discharges for service users under our care.
Sophie Homer Care Co-ordinator
I am responsible for scheduling our workforce in the community and liaising with all our external partners to arrange prompt discharges from hospital. I have 7 amount of years working in the industry and joined Nexxus in January as a support worker, in March 2018 I joined the office team. I work closely with our occupational therapists to ensure our service users are having the best opportunity to be independent and responsible for management information being readily available for the business.
Kayleigh George Care Administrator
I have 10 years experience in the care industry. I am responsible for managing the senior support workers in order to ensure we are delivering the highest quality care in the community. I arrange meetings with all the senior care workers, manage our compliance and assist with taking hospital discharges. I also communicate any changes to our paperwork and or processes as an extra layer of communication to our support workers.

I joined Nexxus in December 2018. I have 7 years’ experience in many aspects of care, predominantly Domiciliary care. I am responsible for scheduling our carers out in the community, ensuring our Service Users receive outstanding continuity of care. I also assist with staff monitoring and payroll. I communicate and work closely with our carers, service user’s, health professionals and other third parties. I also support the rest of my team on a day to day basis in any other tasks that require assistance.
