Senior Care Assistant- East Staffs (Salaried)

Nexxus Care are looking for 2 experienced Senior Care worker’s to cover the Uttoxeter, Rugeley, Lichfield, Burton and surrounding areas

For this role, you must have worked in a similar role within the care sector for at least 12  months, and hold a minimum of NVQ 2 or equivalent and happy to work towards NVQ level 3.

The role will require you to work 40 hours over 7 days. having every other weekend off. Out of hours on call payments inclusive in salary.

The working pattern will be

Week one 5 days working 7.00am until 2.00pm

Week two 5 days working  2.00pm until 10.00pm

Key skills you should possess:

  • Experience with an out of hours emergency On-call service
  • Possess good IT skills as you will be using a digital platform on a daily basis
  • Must have full driving licence and use of a car
  • Experience with writing Care Plans
  • Be able to assess clients individual needs and carry out risk assessments
  • Experience in completing MAR Charts
  • Experience in auditing daily log books and MAR Charts
  • Able to time manage, be proactive and work on your own initiative
  • Manage a team of field based carer workers
  • Experience in carrying out supervisions & spot checks
  • Professional manner and excellent customer service to liaise with other health care professionally
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Have strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
